The Tomé Foundations were established to support organizations  and institutions in such a way as to influence lives to meet the significant challenges of the day. The Tomé Foundation funds educational scholarships at accredited colleges and universities across the United States for women and minorities in STEAM  (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum and supplements the charitable giving of The Carol and Ramon Tomé Family Fund (donor advisory fund).

Carol Tomé

Chief Executive Officer
​United Parcel Service (UPS)
Carol Tomé is currently the CEO of United Parcel Service (UPS). Prior to joining UPS, Carol served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Home Depot, Inc. Carol joined The Home Depot in 1995 as Vice President and Treasurer. Carol serves as a trustee and board member of many organizations including Grady Hospital, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Sovos Brands and GIA Partners. She is a member of The Committee of 200, The Business Roundtable, The Business Council, and The Buckhead Coalition. Carol is a Jackson, Wyoming native and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Wyoming and an MBA in finance from the University of Denver.​

Ramon Tomé

Former Environmental Technologist
​Georgia Department of Natural Resources
Ramon Tomé is a retired environmental technologist from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division. For the past 20 years, he was involved with the capturing and cataloging of toxic compounds that are the precursors to the formation of ground ozone in Atlanta and its surrounding counties. Ramon currently serves on the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia.  Ramon holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Wyoming. Ramon is a native of Honduras.​

 Barbara Daniel

Barbara Daniel is currently the Executive Administrator of the Tomé Foundation. She has 28 years of service in a variety of positions in the Finance Department at The Home Depot, Inc. 18 of which she was the Executive Assistant to then EVP/CFO – Carol Tomé.  In 2019, Barbara joined the Tomé Foundation to support Carol and Ramon as they started their family foundation.
